Chris has over 15 years of experience in private equity, operations consulting and investment banking.

Previously, Chris was an Associate at Moelis & Company where he advised on over $10 billion of Restructuring, M&A and Capital Markets transactions.

Prior to Moelis, Chris was an Associate Director at SS&A Company where he executed due diligence, post-merger integration and performance improvement engagements within SSA’s Private Equity Practice.

Mark Habner
Mark has over 25 years experience in both the private equity and operations consulting sector in the USA, Australia and Europe. In his current role, he leads Beckway Group’s four divisions, Hemingway Capital, TalentFinders, Trailblazers and Tracking Technologies and supports the continued growth and success of the overall business.

Previously, Mark was a Senior Managing Director with SSA & Company where he led the firm’s Capabilities Practices. SSA is an operations consulting firm focused on strategy execution. Mark remains a non-executive Advisor to SSA & Company.
Prior to SSA, Mark was a Partner with RMB Capital Partners, a leading mid-market private equity fund in Australia, where he led and managed investments in healthcare, industrial products and business services. Mark commenced his career at Booz & Company.

Mike Thompson
Mike has 40 years of experience in publicly traded and PE-backed consumer and commercial businesses.

Previously, he was a CEO for companies ranging from $60-500M in bedding, polyurethane, and pet products; and an operating executive for leading middle market PE firms, responsible for diligence, value creation and governance.
​
Prior, Mike held executive roles with Rubbermaid, Masco Corporation, and Black+Decker. He began his career in product management with Sunbeam.

Alec Strull
Alec has nearly 8 years of lower middle market transaction experience across a broad range of industries. His responsibilities include the due diligence of investment opportunities as well as the monitoring of existing portfolio companies.
Previously, Alec was a Vice President at CenterGate Capital, an industry agnostic lower middle market private equity firm. Prior to CenterGate, Alec was an investment banking analyst at Houlihan Lokey, where he focused exclusively on M&A within the consumer industry. Alec began his career working for J.P. Morgan in their asset management group.

Matthew Dakil
Matt has over 12 years of sell side and buy side experience. He leads Hemingway’s deal origination effort and also assists in deal execution.

Previously, Matt was the Founder of Hathaway Equity Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm investing in family-owned businesses within the consumer industry.
​
Prior to forming Hathaway, he sourced platform and add-on acquisitions in various industries for a generalist, lower middle market private equity firm, and worked for a family office backed private equity firm focused on acquiring software and tech-enabled services companies.
Matt began his career working for a regional investment bank in the Southwest.

Michelle Sherlock
Prior to her position as Investor Relations Principal, Michelle led Business Development efforts at a premier retained executive search firm in their Pharmaceutical practice. Preceding that, she held the position of Project Manager in both the Healthcare and Human Resources practices, helping take opportunities from conception to completion.
Michelle began her career as a Marketing Associate, Client Services at Columbus Circle Investors in their Alternative Strategies group where she built a strong foundation in client relations.
